Germs and bacteria get stuck in between linings of the curtains. This feature is good because they prevent bacteria from entering the house further and spread like crazy. On the other hand, the curtains should be regularly washed.

Last but not the least, curtains certainly beautify and improve the atmosphere of a specific room. In the kitchen, cream-colored curtains would fit the whole theme of the room since most kitchens follow the standard yet hunger-inducing color combination (light red, flesh, beige, peach and the like.) Kitchens with dark themes, on the other hand, should also come with curtains of light tone to enable light to pass through.
